Position Summary The Parts Runner supports demolition field operations by ensuring the timely pickup and delivery of equipment parts, tools, materials, and supplies to and from job sites, vendors, and company facilities. This role plays a critical part in keeping demolition crews operational by minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring safe transport of large and heavy components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver demolition equipment parts, tools, and materials to active job sites and company locations.
  • Transport items safely and efficiently while maintaining delivery schedules that support field productivity.
  • Load and unload heavy equipment components, attachments, and oversized materials.
  • Properly secure loads for transport, including large, heavy, or irregularly shaped demolition parts.
  • Operate company trucks and tow utility or gooseneck trailers as needed.
  • Verify accuracy and condition of parts before pickup and delivery.
  • Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and communication with supervisors and field crews.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Perform basic vehicle and trailer inspections before and after use.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safe operating condition of assigned vehicles and trailers.
  • Follow all company safety policies, transportation regulations, and job site requirements.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record required.
  • Experience towing utility trailers and/or gooseneck trailers strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment parts or construction/demolition materials preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure loads safely, including oversized or heavy equipment components.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials 
  • Strong time management and reliability in meeting delivery timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with field personnel.
  • Comfortable working around active demolition job sites and heavy equipment.

Work Environment

  • Frequent driving between job sites, vendors, and company yards.
  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, vibration, and active demolition environments.
  • Regular lifting, loading, and physical activity.
